Broadband Communications
Wenco uses Motorola MESH Networks for field communications. Designed for high speed mobile communications, MESH brings reliability to the rapid deployment of high-speed wireless connectivity in your mine.

MESH networks will handle all of your data traffic including; Wenco’s VPN support to all IP addressable components in the field, real-time maintenance monitoring, in-pit video or VOIP.

Already have a network? Wenco can utilize any 802.11a/b/g/n backbone, WLAN or MESH communications infrastructure you have in place.

Onboard Hardware
Onboard computer terminals are based on open standards architecture using commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) components. System components include Windows XP, 10/100Base-TX Ethernet, 512MB RAM, 4 GB compact flash, 3 x USB, 4 Digital I/O, 3 x RS232,and 1 x RJ45.

Configuration of system memory and interface capabilities can be suited to individual customer needs.

The unit can be accessed remotely allowing firmware upgrades, configurations, and troubleshooting from the mine office, Wenco’s Head Office, or one of Wenco's numerous support offices around the world.
