Chilean Copper Hotbed Sees Another Wenco Install at Teck's Andacollo
[January 2011] - In a nearly simultaneous signing with the Quebrada Blanca site, Teck's copper mine at Carmen de Andacollo in central Chile has opted to install Wenco's Bench Manager High Precision software with associated hardware and Fleet Control software, both including expert installation and certified training.
The Bench Manager HPGPS software, Octagon ruggedized on-board computers and Motium 10" touch-screens will be installed on the site's shovels and loaders by Wenco's install team, while the Fleet Control software will be added to Teck's existing equipment at the site.
Andacollo chose Wenco for reliability in high quality reporting and control of vital load information via high precision GPS.
