RICHMOND, BC, CANADA (February 2, 2016) — Our specialists are getting ready to kick off Wenco's trade show season, starting with next week's Investing in African Mining Indaba in Cape Town, South Africa.
From February 8 to 11, Wenco will join the discussion at the largest mining event in Africa. For over 20 years, the Mining Indaba has served as an important connector for key players in mining throughout the world. It provides hundreds of companies and thousands of delegates the opportunity to interact with a focus on African commodities and their development.
"Africa is such an important region right now," said Phil Walshe, president of Wenco. "We've seen core areas of this continent persist well throughout the current economic climate and we're eager to strengthen our relationships with people all across Africa."
The Mining Indaba also provides an opportunity to showcase the One Hitachi approach in Africa.
"Working with our parent company, Hitachi Construction Machinery, we're in a unique position. We have a chance to leverage the assets and expertise of a truly global technology company and provide solutions to mining unlike anyone else," said Walshe.
Our representative Ruan Knoetze will be available throughout the week to answer questions and to discuss upcoming Wenco releases (including our Wenco Learning online training system and our Avoca intelligence suite). We welcome everyone to stop by the Hitachi Construction Machinery display at Booth 201 and say hello!
Along with the Investing in African Mining Indaba, Wenco will also attend the following trade shows in 2016:
